So, this is my first blog post and I guess I should let you, the reader, know something about who I am and what this blog is. My name is Walter and I am a Bucknell alumni, class of 2010. Currently, I live in the Boston area and I am working towards a Ph.D. in physics. I actually created this blog by accident searching around Bucknell’s site for some information. I ended up clicking the wrong link and next thing I know, I find myself on my blog’s dashboard. So, I decided not to look a gift horse in the mouth and rather than ignoring this blog, I am going to try to use it for something.
That brings me to the topic of what this blog will be used for. The short answer to that question is I do not know. The long answer is that I hope to try some different things out and see how I like them. I don’t really expect anybody to read this blog or to develop any kind of regular readers, so I may just end up using this as a dumping ground for rants I may have about things or for links that I find entertaining or interesting that I feel like sharing. Ultimately, my true passion is for teaching the subject of physics. So, sometime in the future when I have more free time and/or a better understanding of the blagosphere, I may gear this blog towards science in some way.
